Research

The Global Institute’s practical research covers every level of competition, from Formula One and the World Rally Championship, to national series and karting. Many of these studies have already produced results that have led to increased protection for participants across all categories of motor sport.

This research includes studies that focus on improving safety for the spectators and personnel that attend every motor sport event. It also covers the latest theories and developments from the world of motor sport medicine.

In addition, the Global Institute’s researchers monitor automotive trends and safety initiatives to produce innovative technologies from studies that aim to reduce dangers out on public roads.





Scientific Advisory Committee

The Scientific Advisory Committee makes strategic recommendations to the Board regarding research matters. It offers guidance and advice on any issues arising from the Global Institute’s research projects.
