GISR organized a closed virtual discussion addressing Sudan’s geopolitical importance, the causes of the war that began on April 15, 2023, and subsequent developments. Discussions also covered the regional and international dimensions of the conflict, as well as possible outcomes and future scenarios, with a particular focus on indicators that may lead to the division of the country.
