Biography

Senior researcher and specialist in economic affairs, focusing on macroeconomic issues in Syria and other Middle Eastern countries. He holds a master’s degree in economics from Damascus University and a master’s degree in data science from Roma Business School, Italy and Universidad Internacional de Valencia. He also lectures in economics at several universities and has contributed to various books and university curricula. Dr. Al Terkawi has authored four published books, as well as several research papers and scientific articles.
