GISR participated in this important forum, contributing to dialogue on cultural exchange and educational collaboration between the Arab world and China. The first Forum on Exchange and Mutual Learning Between Chinese and Arab Civilizations, held in Shanghai, brought together representatives from 45 Chinese and 29 Arab universities to strengthen educational and cultural cooperation. The event was part of the 10+10 Cooperation Plan, supported by major Chinese and Arab academic institutions. Speakers highlighted the growing educational ties, with over 20,000 Arab students studying in China in recent years and emphasized the importance of academic collaboration in facing global challenges. As part of this effort, the Chinese and Arab university associations signed an agreement to deepen exchange and joint initiatives.
