This workshop took place ahead of the second intergovernmental GCC-C5 Summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The Summit brings together government leaders from the Gulf Cooperation Council (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) and the five Central Asian republics (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan).
