Biography

Researcher and strategic political thinker. His PhD research, conducted in 2010 at the University of Westminster in London, explored the relationship between brain drain, democratization, and human development in Libya. In February 2011, he became the UK coordinator for the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC). Dr. El-Gamaty offers a strategic insight and overview of Libya's current political, security and economic challenges, whilst being deeply familiar with the political landscape and contemporary challenges and dynamics within the Maghreb and MENA Regions
