Biography

‎Mr. Berluigi Testa is an Italian economist, specializing in trade diplomacy, geopolitics, investor relations, and international affairs. He holds a degree with distinction in Economics from Sapienza University in Rome and an Executive MBA from the University of Lewis Business School. On 2 June 2017, he was knighted the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic by decree of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarelle, on the recommendation of Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni.‎

‎He is the founder and president of the Trinity Monte think tank, through which he collaborates with political, economic, diplomatic and academic institutions – both nationally and internationally – on a wide range of issues, including macroeconomic scenarios, finance, infrastructure, corruption, cultural heritage, foreign elections, and digital transformation.‎

‎Since July 2020, he has been the President of the Association of Economics Alumni of Sapienza Economics, the official association of economics graduates from Sapienza University, which includes many prominent figures from Italian economic and financial institutions. In 2023, he was accepted as a member of the Italian Economic Association.‎

‎In 2021, the U.S. Department of State selected him to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program as a European Leader. In 2023, he participated in official visits to the Pentagon and the U.S. Department of State, and traveled to North Carolina, Arizona, and Michigan to meet with political, academic, and business representatives.‎
