Biography

‎He is a researcher at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Doha and Washington, he has served as Executive Director of the Syrian Center for Political and Strategic Studies in Washington and Director of the Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies, as well as a visiting researcher and lecturer at a number of American universities such as Harvard, Columbia, Georgetown, George Washington, New York, The Hague, and the University of Marburg in Germany.‎

‎He holds a Ph.D. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Florida as an MBA from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, a Master's degree in Political Science from Georgetown University, a Diploma in International Human Rights Law from the American University in Washington, a Diploma in Armed Conflict Resolution from the University of Cyprus, and a Diploma in Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins University in Washington.‎

‎He has published more than 30 books in Arabic and English, and his articles have been published in many Arab and foreign magazines and newspapers.‎
